Welcome to May, star babies. This month brings Mercury retrograde, another eclipse, and Gemini, aka party season. But, before you start stressing, know that May also brings blessings in love and professional matters, and you're tough enough to get through another eclipse. When Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and money, enters brave Aries on Monday, May 2, we all feel encouraged to be honest and direct about our feelings regarding a romantic partner. You're too old to play games no matter what your sign is. Use this transit to be honest with romantic interests.

Mercury goes retrograde in its home sign of Gemini on Tuesday, May 10. Because this could delay and confuse communication for the next few weeks, it's another reason to get any big relationship talks out of the way earlier in the month. You should be fine as long as you don't get back together with a toxic ex. When the lucky planet Jupiter moves into confident Aries on Tuesday, May 10, everyone gets a boost of star power. Jupiter governs growth and prosperity. When it's influenced by bold Aries, you can assert your needs and desires in both your professional and personal lives, even if Mercury is retrograde. And, as long it's done with confidence rather than arrogance, your efforts should be well received.

Because Scorpio can be a bit paranoid, full moons are animalistic times, and eclipses are cosmic wildcards, it's not a wise time to stir the pot.

Even if life feels like smooth sailing, consider staying in and taking it easy the weekend of Sunday, May 15, which brings a full moon and lunar eclipse in intense Scorpio. Because Scorpio can be a bit paranoid, full moons are animalistic times, and eclipses are cosmic wildcards, it's not a wise time to stir the pot. Avoid arguments, try to let things go, and use the weekend for self-care and catching up on sleep. 

Flirty Gemini season begins on Friday, May 20. Because Gemini is the social butterfly of the zodiac, this time of year tends to mean more social invites and lots of parties. While it's a lovely time to catch up with friends, remember that the pandemic is still ongoing, continue to practice safety precautions, and always stay home if you don't feel well. When the fighter planet Mars enters its home sign of Aries on Tuesday, May 24, you will feel confident and capable of accessing your own comfort level and creating boundaries regarding socialization.
