Welcome to May, sweet Cancer. Last month, when the transformative planet Pluto went retrograde, your love life began to see significant changes (don't worry, they're all for the best). This theme continues when the romance planet Venus enters brave Aries on Monday, May 2. You're known for caring deeply about your home and family life, darling Cancer. It's because you're ruled by the intuitive moon, and it's part of what makes you so unique. Because this transit lights up the part of your chart that rules home and family, expect to grow closer with a romantic interest or partner during this time. Your lover is becoming family. And, for some, this may even signal a wedding or moving in together. 

On Tuesday, May 10, Mercury goes retrograde in its home sign Gemini. Mark it in your calendar so that you have time to prepare, but try not to worry. You've survived many Mercury retrogrades, Cancer. You're already feeling introspective because this falls in Scorpio and your 9th House of Philosophy. So, rather than risk a fight with a loved one, channel your emotions by tapping into your signature creative side. It's okay to feel emotional. Pour it into a painting, a poem, or even dance around the house to your favorite musical artist. 

Social Gemini season begins on Friday, May 20, dear Crab. It's a good thing that the first half of May saw you giving your home life attention because your calendar is about to become filled up with parties and events with friends. When the fighter planet Mars enters its home sign of Aries on Tuesday, May 24, you feel called to throw a dinner party of your own. Host a small but sweet celebration. You're a wonderful host and will enjoy catching up with friends. 

Mercury is still retrograde, so you want to choose your words carefully, but don't worry.

Sweet Cancer, May is epic when it comes to your love life. When Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and abundance, enters its home sign of Taurus on Saturday, May 28, you find yourself having important conversations within your relationships. Don't worry; there's no need to be worried. This just means that you may finally tell your partner about a sexual fantasy or work out the details of the leveling up your relationship went through earlier this month. Just make sure to practice patience and listen to what the other side has to say. Mercury is still retrograde, so you want to choose your words carefully, but don't worry. These conversations are crucial to moving your romance into its next phase. 

Finally, May comes to a close with a dark new moon in Gemini on Monday, May 30. While this month has been mainly about love, this lunation turns your attention to professional projects.
