Welcome to May, Gemini. Your season begins this month, so happily prepare for even more attention than usual. At the end of April, you made it through a rocky eclipse. The good news is that you survived, the bad news is that there's another one this month. But don't worry, nothing can stop you from having so much fun this birthday season. 

On Monday, May 2, Venus, the romantic planet of beauty and abundance, enters Aries. Did someone say birthday makeover? This transit sees you finding new ways to express yourself through beauty and glamour rituals, such as playing with spring makeup or even playful new hair color. Use self-care throughout the rest of your month, as on Tuesday, May 10, Mercury goes retrograde in your sign, Gemini. There's no cause for alarm; just make sure that you're ordering the correct eyeshadow palette before checking out at Sephora, and double-check the time and date for any beauty appointments.  

On Tuesday, May 10, Jupiter, the lucky planet of growth and expansion, moves into bold Aries. Because your ruling planet is messenger Mercury, you already tend to be great at holding a conversation, Gemini. But because this transit lights up your 3rd House of Communication, get ready to become the most charming person in the room. This is an ideal time for networking, not to mention dating. As Mercury is retrograde, make sure to stay on top of your calendar and add extra travel time for any meetings or parties. 

Avoid confrontations with friends, coworkers, and lovers by taking a night off. 

There is one night you should lay low, Gemini, and that's Sunday, May 15. There's a dramatic full moon and lunar eclipse in intense Scorpio, which falls in your 8th House of Sex, Death, and Transformation.
