If you follow Tia Mowry-Hardrict on social media, you've probably picked up on the fact that she has a Pandora's Box full of beauty and style ideas. Back on March 31  — aka five days ago  — she opened our eyes to a new take on the French manicure, and now, she's showing us that dark blue makes for an alluring hair color aside from the traditional shades.  

The former Disney Channel star revealed that she added some hints of blue to her hair in a TikTok post on April 4. In the video, she starts makeup-free while dressed in a white T-shirt, then transitions to show herself in full glam. Once she shares that she's gone full-glam, you can see the traces of blue that decorate her braids. 

Why not get matchy-matchy with it when you get the chance, right? Mowry-Hardrict also seems to have purposely coordinated her blue braids with her denim jean jacket and jeans. We will most definitely keep this style and beauty tip in our back pockets for another day, but Mowry-Hardrict's blue streaks are reminding us that the color is actually bound to reign supreme this year. 

The Fall/Winter 2022 New York Fashion Week Shows declared that blue will be everywhere this upcoming fall and winter season, given that the color was the eye shadow shade of choice at Kim Shui, Bronx and Blanco, and Maryam Nassir Zadeh — among others.

 With brighter and warmer days on the horizon, we'd rather not think about fall and winter just yet, but we'll admit that adding some blue to our beauty looks is something that we can get excited about… for now.
