This Luxe Truffle Face Cream Promises Younger-Looking Skin

You might be used to seeing truffle on the menu at your favorite restaurant, but Savor Beauty serving up another use for the mushroom. As the main ingredient in the brand’s Truffle Face Cream ($74), truffle can also be used to deeply hydrate and gradually tighten the skin. The hero ingredient in this super-moisturizer is white truffle extract, and the brand calls it a “skin superfood” because fungus houses a special enzyme called superoxide dismutase, which claims to prevent fine lines and age spots. Savor Beauty also incorporated other ingredients that suit the needs of every skin type: watermelon seed oil and papaya extract to increase cell turnover and prevent acne, sage extract to soothe and balance aging skin, and meadowfoam to lock in moisture for those on the drier side.

To use the brand’s number-one best-seller, apply it both morning and night after cleansing and toning the skin. For an added spa-like boost, the brand recommends warming the cream between your fingers and pressing it into the face and neck to melt it directly into the dermis.

The reviews on the brand’s website are enough to show for its effectiveness. “Hydrating without being greasy—keeps my skin soft during the long winter months.
