On Super Bowl weekend, Normani showed out with a new hair color that's much, much lighter than her go-to shades.  Though she gave us a color change-up in last November with some long ginger hair, she's mostly been loyal to dark chocolate brown or black hues for the past few years.  While we haven't seen her experiment much with shades outside of that, "Wild Side" singer was just spotted with caramel blonde waves for the annual football game on February 13. 

At the time of publication, the Allure September 2021 cover star hasn't posted a picture of her new hair just yet — but leave it to celebrity photographer Miles Diggs (aka Diggzy) to snag a few shots of her. In the photo he posted, which you can view here, Normani is seen walking side by side with Grownish star Ryan Destiny. The "Motivation" singer is wearing a denim two-piece set with matching thigh-high boots. Her textured hair is parted down the middle, and it cascades down to her mid-waist. These on-trend waves are a welcome change from her typical straight or curled styles, and at the roots, you can spot a light brown hue that fades into that brand new blonde shade. 

That said, Normani isn't completely foreign to blonde hair. For a feature story in V Magazine, hairstylist Cesar Ramirez styled a platinum blonde wig with dark brown roots for the singer to wear, and it drove readers and her fans wild. So while we're not sure if these temporary forays into blonde and copper color are any indication that Normani will be diving into more hair experimentation, we'll be here paying close attention to see what new shades, textures, and styles the "Love Lies" singer has to bring.
