These Products Will Help You Achieve TikTok’s “Cherry Cola Lips”

Like many, I’ve gone through various lipstick phases. There was a time I adored a vampy wine-colored lip, and during the Taylor Swift Red era, do I even have to tell you what shade was on my lips? Lately, I haven’t been all that adventurous. I’ve settled into nudes and natural-looking shades. However, I think the “cherry cola lips” trend on TikTok finally broke me free from my neutral prison.

It’s simple. First, you line your lips with a shade of brown liner and then fully fill the lips in with it—it’ll feel like coloring in the lines in a coloring book. Then coat the lips with a red lip and add gloss if desired. The colors balance each other out, so the shade isn’t too bold, but it’s anything but basic. The brown mutes the red, and the red brightens the brown, and they meet in the middle to create a unique shade.
