Life doesn't always imitate art, which is probably a good thing for the cast members of Euphoria — at least plot-wise. And while many of its stars sported some amazing nail art during the most recent season of the hit HBO series, the actors don't necessarily vibe IRL with the styles they wore in character. Case in point: Could Sydney Sweeney's latest nail art be more Maddy?

Sweeney shared a closeup video of her new manicure on her Instagram Stories, revealing a graphic design that harkens back to more edgy, Maddy-esque sets like the black-and-white tuxedo nails. It's hard to picture the ever-so-pastel Cassie wearing this simple yet bold nail art, which features different black shapes on the milky-white base of each nail.

The set is a perfect match for the black Brandon Maxwell dress she wore to the Teen Vogue Celebrates New Hollywood event.

Sweeney recently told Allure that she works hand-in-hand (kind of literally) with nail artist Zola Ganzorigt to design her red-carpet manicures, which, as of late, have been press-on nails while she's been filming National Anthem. "So I design nails, I draw them out, and I send my ideas to Zola, who brings them to life for me. Then I just press them on. It's really fun," she said. 

It seems this latest look by Ganzorirgt may be acrylics, however, because her return to blonde hair — she dyed it red for the role — would indicate that film is wrapped. And perhaps that she's ready to start filming season 3 of Euphoria…?
