Nicole Kidman has the magnificent ability to pull off basically any hair color she chooses. While she's been sticking to being a blonde for the past year or so, we saw her in a shaggy brown cut with fringe for Destroyer in 2017, and we saw her with red hair in The Undoing in 2019. Now, she is leaving her signature long locks for something a little different — and we have to say, we're obsessed.

The Big Little Lies actor took to Instagram to post a four-image carousel about a new project that we're excited about on May 4, but all we could focus on was her hair. It's still blonde and parted on the left side of her head, but get this — she has a bob! It suits her very well and hangs just above her shoulders with some baby waves. 

The photos are pretty casual, just a behind-the-scenes look at Expats, an upcoming television series for Prime Video for which Kidman is both an actor and executive producer. So we can conclude that this cute cut might just be for the role (in fact, it could even be a wig). In that same vein, she's not wearing much makeup, if at all, for this teaser post, as she is posing with Lulu Wang, another executive producer.

All we have to say is: another Nicole Kidman television drama? And she's in a bob? Just take all of my money now. There's no doubt that we will be bingeing this series the second it's available to stream and taking notes on any of the beauty looks that come with it.

But, if this haircut is real, we also can't wait to see it dressed up in real life if it looks this good dressed down. Because imagine this bob curled on the red carpet.
