For me, the best part about playing a video game is creating your digital character and all the accessories you are able to earn along the way — I know I can't be alone there. One game in particular, Fortnite, has been exceptional when it comes to avatar customization and the wide array of the ads-ons one can buy for their character. Now, players are being given the chance to earn Naomi Osaka-inspired outfits and accessories within the game's new Champion Series. To celebrate the collaboration, which has just launched, Osaka posted to Instagram on Wednesday, March 3, 2022, posing in front of a gigantic mural on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles with hair as bright as her digital character's — we're taking bubblegum pink bright.

The hair isn't the only pink element of Osaka's virtual counterpart. The in-game accessories seen in the mirror behind Osaka in her series of Instagram photos include a Royale Racket Pickaxe, which is said to create a pink wind trail called The Queen's Cloudcarriage Glideras as the racket is swung. Pink not your thing? Don't worry; Osaka has an array of accessories for her additional Dark Priestess Naomi Outfit, which consists of neon greens and bright reds, also seen in the mural from her Instagram post.

Even if you're not much of a video game connoisseur, you still have to give some credit to Osaka and her drastic hair color change to match one of her two characters. Is pink her favorite color? How long will this bubblegum-pink hair color last? So many questions arise with this drastic color change from her previously dark brown hair. For now, I'll be bugging my video-game-playing partner to get on it so I can see Osaka's character and (hopefully) have him win some of her swag within the game. Wouldn't that be sweet?
