On March 27, Megan Thee Stallion arrived at the 2022 Oscars in a slate blue Gaurav Gupta gown and jet-black hair slicked back into a chignon with swooping, sculpted baby hairs flourishing her hairline. It was a different vibe for the star who usually wears her hair down, often in a technicolor hue. We're still drooling over that look, but we want to rewind a bit to another somewhat unexpected hair moment from the rapper: The chin-grazing bob she wore just a few days prior to the award show. 

The Houston-raised rapper posted an Instagram carousel showing off her blunt bob on March 26. The short hair was styled simply and bumped at the ends, giving it some bounce and movement. Her hair was swept to the side with some pieces falling over her face. Of course, we can't forget her baby hairs, which were slicked down into a swoop to match her sideburns. Like we said: Meg loves to wear super-long, booty-grazing inches, so it's a treat to see her with a short style like this.

Naturally, her makeup and nails are perfection, too. On her eyes, she's wearing a shimmery cut crease, a full set of lashes, and a thick cat-eye. Her lips were lined with a brown liner finished with a netural lip gloss. Her lipstick-shaped nails are painted French manicure-style with neon green tips and multicolored smiley faces. 

By now, we expect Meg to excite us with each new hairstyle she debuts, regardless of the cut or color. Though she's since moved on to other hairstyles, we're hoping she posts more images of her with short hair. May we suggest a curly bob in a ginger hue?
