Megan Thee Stallion is back with a bold statement by way of her hair — and with a huge announcement to follow. Whether she's channeling the multiple egos we've grown to love like Tina Snow, Hot Girl Meg, and her recent addition, Suga, she never plays it safe with hairstyles that serve as our go-to for major inspiration.

On February 27, Thee Stallion announced a virtual reality concert on behalf of AmazeVR. As amazing as that sounds, I couldn't help being distracted from the post by her stunning hair look with two lengthy micro braids highlighted by her lively gesticulations. Not only are they waist-length with slicked baby hairs in front, but they're punctuated by two pairs of jumbo braids in the back. (Never mind her galactic-looking, gold-and-black corset with a one-shoulder lapel design.) We're used to seeing her in sparkly hair tinsel these days, or colorful, elongated hair, so it's nice to see yet another dose of the Hot Girl's hair innovation. It definitely has us anticipating her concert and the different beauty moments she'll be serving.

Dare I say I'm itching for braids now? Not just any style, though. For a nice twist on the regular, straight-back, cornrows, or box braids, perhaps I could take a cue from Megan Thee Stallion and try a cool style like this one. I'm thinking that a fun twist of braided ponytails wrapped in more braids of varying sizes will do the job!
