Allure Beauty Box members will be among the first to try MAC’s newest mascara (it launches in March), which features the Allure Beauty Box One to Watch seal — because this is not your typical lengthening mascara. Its petal-shaped bristles build volume and length evenly across your lashes, and there are two brushes to choose from: Its Superstack Mega Brush is a larger spoolie that is great for the upper lashes and creates tons of voluminous length. The Superstack Micro Brush works on coating the smaller lashes on your bottom lash line as well as the inner corners, with a clump-free, controllable application. For me, it gives just the right amount of definition at the roots, and lots of volume all the way to the ends.

And then there is the jet-black formula itself: Its stackable polymer fibers build impressive length.MAC R&D created a new, stretchable technology within the formula, coating each lash from root to tip, while “hugging each individual lash from every angle leaving no lash left behind,” says Jamie Lynch, MAC’s Executive Director of Product Development. “The staggered bristles allow a uniform application against each lash for 360 mass coverage, while simultaneously building controllable, stackable volume—putting the power in your hands to create lash looks from natural to next level.”

Swipe on a few coats, and that’s it – there’s no need for touch ups. As a beauty lover with oily lids, ​​I saw no transfer or flakes around my eyes throughout the day. The two years put into creating this mascara truly paid off.
