If anyone is going to convince you to go pink this summer, it's actor Joey King, who just hit the red carpet (again) in support of her new movie Bullet Train wearing the most iconic pale-pink bob.

King decided to briefly switch up her usual brunette long bob for a short and sweet rosy chop for the Bullet Train premiere in Berlin, pairing the pastel pink with a sleek black Balenciaga turtleneck jumpsuit. The slanted bob was styled to look a little wet and lived-in, giving the sweet color a bit of edge to toughen it up. The star kept a bit of the short crop tucked behind her ear and let the longer side fall against her face for a high-fashion asymmetrical look. Makeup artist Polly Osmond let the hair be the focus and gave Joey a smoldering bronze smoky eye and pretty peach-pink lip that perfectly complemented the rose gold hues in her hair. Joey, we're begging you — please make this a permanent change! It looks perfect on you.

The pink moment was styled by Joey's go-to hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, who has been creating various hairstyles for the star as she continues her Bullet Train press tour. For a London press call, King and Giannetos whipped up a very 2000s updo with bangs, and for the London premiere, they went all out with finger waves that flowed into loose, casual ends for a more dramatic, red-carpet worthy glam. According to Giannetos, they created eight looks in five days for the European press tour — no small feat.

"We were in Berlin so we wanted to do something more edgy," Giannetos told Allure. "Since she was wearing the black Balenciaga catsuit, I wanted to give a hint of color. The look was very modern and edgy … I wanted her to look editorial like she came from the runway."

King was a big fan of the pink bob. "She loved it, she felt very confident," Giannetos shared. "It was the first time she [had done] something like that."

We've seen King testing the waters with new hairstyles recently, notably the long auburn waves she wears in her movie The Princess. No coverage of King's hair journey would be complete without mentioning her shaved head for the Hulu series The Act, which was actually the third time the star had shaved her head for a role. 

King told Allure at the time that she wasn't at all nervous about saying "See ya" to her hair. "I've never really had an attachment to my hair. I couldn't care less what happens to it," King shared. "No part of me was nervous or was second-guessing it. So many people would ask me, 'Are you really scared?' or 'Are you nervous?' or say, 'You're so brave.' And I'd go, 'I'm not brave. I'm just cutting my hair off.'"

King is always down to change things up for a role or a red carpet, and we're really hoping to see more of this gorgeous pink in the future. Joey, are you listening?
