JLO Celebrates 53rd Birthday with a Naked Photoshoot and a New ‘Booty Balm’ Product

It was only a matter of time that the new Mrs. Affleck would be expanding her skin-care line to areas below the neck and waist. After all, she’s known for her her assets. With a new body care product, the newly married singer and actress is addressing the areas of the body she helped make trendy. If you think about it, having a “Booty Balm” in her line seems like a no brainer for the star.

To celebrate her 53rd birthday, Jennifer Lopez striped down for a naked photoshoot and shared with fans the reason she feels body care is essential: “We give all this care and attention to the skin on our face, but we sometimes neglect the body. It was important to me to create a skincare routine for the body to address its specific and unique needs, and we started with the booty!”

JLo beauty put the new Firm + Flaunt Targeted Booty Balm ($65) to the test with an 8-week clinical study made up of 34 women, ranging from ages 27 to 63. Users reported an increase in hydration and improvement with skin elasticity. The balm is formulated with plant-based extracts like pink pepperslim, guarana seed, avocado seed, as well as squalane, caffiene, hyaluronic acid and more.

“It’s all the power and science behind JLo Beauty… now for the body,” said Lopez. For that JLo glow, she recommends using it on other areas, too—like the hips, thighs and arms— to firm, hydrate and reduce the look of stretch marks. If she could guarantee results that looked anything like hers, we’d be willing to slather it all over our entire bodies.
