I Tried The Only Teeth Whitening Device Sold at Sephora, and I’m Loving the Results

Teeth whitening has always been intimidating for me. After a whitening appointment at BeamBar with Better & Better, I became a bit more comfortable with the experience. There was one thing that kept me from loving my results: my bonded tooth. I chipped a tooth in half as a kid, and now that half is made up of bonding, which can pose a challenge for whitening. As the natural tooth gets whiter the shade of the bonding doesn’t tend to follow suit. I tried GLO Brilliant Advanced White Smile At Home Teeth Whitening Device Kit and loved how easy it was to use and how I was able to monitor my whitening progress to ensure I didn’t exceed the shade of my bonding.

The Benefits:

As the only whitening device that uses heat technology at home, this treatment works better than the rest you can buy in stores. A clinical study found that over five days, 100 percent of people had whiter teeth with an average improvement of 12 shades. Another study found that 100 percent of people said it was easy to use, and they experienced little to no sensitivity. I also love that it didn’t hurt my sensitive teeth as whitening strips usually do. How to Use It:

First, you’ll have to charge the device, then when it’s ready, turn it on. Apply the provided lip care to your lips and the whitening gel to the teeth that are visible when you smile in a circular motion. Pop the mouthpiece in and push the GLO button to start the treatment. Each round is eight minutes and three rounds are recommended. The bands on the device will keep track of time for you. When the first session finishes, take the mouthpiece out and spit out excess gel, then reapply and repeat the process twice more.
