How can you make your nails grow faster?

For someone like me who loves applying nail polishes and doing nail art, having long nails is a blessing. However, when you have short nails, it can take a lot of time to grow them. Markets are flooded with fake nails, but for me, having natural long nails is something. So, I have tried and tested some ways that help in speeding up the growth process. These are very simple tips, including products you have at home and a few lifestyle changes. If you wish to grow your nails faster, these will help you a lot in doing it.

Apply cuticle oil or balm!
If your cuticles and nails are too dry, they might develop cracks and can break in one touch. Moisturized nails grow healthy and strong so they grow fast too. So, keep that cuticle balm handy, and never forget to slather your nails and cuticles with oil. You can also use olive oil for massaging your nails and hands. The good moisturizing hand cream also works great.Avoid using your hands like tools!

This is something every girl has done either while opening up a can, a lid, or scratching off a tape. These might not seem too much work, but they cause serious damage to your nails. They can cause small cracks in the tips, which widen with time and make your nails break. If your nails will keep breaking, how will they grow fast? And this includes chewing the nails too. File your nails and push those cuticles!

this is something, you do not need to do every day. File your nails gently every 3-4 days. This helps in getting rid of any ridges or breaks occurring on the tips. Try to file in one direction only and slowly. Otherwise, you will damage your nails. 

Pushing cuticles back should be a regular practice, done every 3-4 days. Take a cuticle pusher, sanitize it well and push those cuticles back gently. Avoid cutting them. If you push them back regularly, they will be tamed in no time. Use a buffer to remove dead skin on the nails around cuticles. 
Eat right!

Your nails reflect every ounce of your health. When you have a deficiency of some kind, it shows on your hair and nails. Eat healthily and include greens and fruits in your diet. You must have proper nourishment. Apply moisturizer and body oils to keep your skin hydrated. Right after washing your hands and sanitizing. apply hand cream. It will make the hands soft, and help in nail growth.
