H.E.R. took to Instagram on February 21 to show off a new look — adorable pigtails with hair so long, it's reaching past her hips. In the first of a series of photos posted to Instagram, the singer gazes at her iPhone while taking a mirror selfie. As she holds up her phone, H.E.R. takes a moment to shows off her smooth, black, oval-shaped manicure.

But the center of attention here really are the singer's two high pigtails, which are complimented by a side part. This style makes for a playful, 2000s-era look. We’re ecstatic to see the continued revival of Y2K beauty, and if we trust anyone to make a trend relevant again, it’s H.E.R.

The rest of the photos feature H.E.R. sitting in a director's chair in front of what we think is a tour bus. (The singer recently announced that the “Back of My Mind” tour begins on April 8.) Again in the same sunglasses, she's tilting her head down and giving us a perfect view of her makeup: sparkly navy eyeshadow, fake lashes, and a shimmering tinted lip gloss. 

With H.E.R.'s tour quickly approaching, we're so excited to see all of the onstage beauty looks. Hair, makeup, nails — we’ll be waiting patiently until her next performance.
