Doja Cat has been understandably boasting about her own natural hair recently, but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy a fabulous wig whenever she feels like it — and that's pretty often. How else can you easily switch things up without committing to a drastically different style? That said, we wouldn't blame her if she wanted to stick to her latest look for a while.

Doja posted a carousel of photos and video clips to Instagram showing off the new look. At first, it almost seems like she's got some kind of spiky, pink mullet, which — not gonna lie — would be pretty awesome; turns out it's a furry hat (that just so happens to match her furry, pink boots). That said, there is some pink on the hair under there.

With the hat off, we can see that Doja's got a very modern take on the classic Farrah Fawcett blowout — a middle part with her face framed by flipped-out layers. Most of the hair is a nearly white shade of platinum blonde, but it's topped off with a headband-like stripe of pink that reaches down to the ends. Between the soft waves and the color, it coordinates with her mirror's frame perfectly.

Doja's stylist, Jared Henderson, A.K.A. JStayReady, shared a quick behind-the-scenes look on his Instagram Stories at how the wig's color came to be. It seems to have involved Saran Wrap, clips, and a much hotter pink dye than how it looks after styling — clearly, he can be trusted to conjure up incredible looks.

It's unclear whether this hairstyle was done just for fun, for an event, or for a shoot of some sort, but we won't object to seeing it pop up in our feeds again in the future.
