I really, really need a haircut. Like, it’s gotten to the point where my split ends have their own split ends. (And yes, I completely see the irony in this, given my vocation.)

That said, biding my time hasn’t been so bad ever since I discovered Christophe Robin Hydrating Leave-In Hair Mist With Aloe Vera. I spritz it down the lengths of my just-washed damp hair before letting it air dry. And lo and behold, my haggard ends look far less frazzled—and my hair overall is left feeling so, so hydrated.

And unlike other leave-in conditioners, this formula didn’t drag down my fine hair in the process. The blend is made with lightweight — but incredibly nourishing — aloe vera, plus flaxseed oil to help strengthen and add shine. Small detail though it may be, I also must mention that the nozzle dispenses the perfect amount of product — so it’s almost impossible to overdo it.

So while no product can take the place of a haircut (the only way to permanently get rid of split ends is a trim), this one comes pretty darn close. Fellow procrastinators, rejoice!
