Charlize Theron Is Here to Prove That Black Is the New Blonde

We all love a fresh look for summer. This past Saturday, Charlize Theron stepped out onto the red carpet for her Africa Outreach Project Gala with her signature blonde locks dyed a striking black. While most people think lighter shades for summer, Theron’s new look is a testament to making bold statements for the warmer months. 

The new ‘do debut caused double takes as the star’s new style had her almost unrecognizable, but her signature side-bangs and laid back half-up half-down look let us know it was in fact the same Charlize we all know and love. The actress let her hair speak for itself, wearing a simple white button down and light-wash jean ensemble accessorized with silver jewels and complimentary black pumps.

This sudden change of shade is not the first time Theron has experimented with different hair styles. Whether it’s method dressing for a Netflix premiere with a funky wig or going bare with a shaved head, the movie star is not afraid of switching it up. Now, she can add dazzling onyx locks to her growing list of looks, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
