I recall the first on-screen introduction the world had to New York sensation Cardi B. With blunt bangs and a laugh to remember, the rapper in the making first set the tone of what was to come with her Love & HipHop debut. "I'm just a regular, degular, schmegular girl from the bronx," she chanted then. That she is — with a very eclectic style of hair looks. Fast forward to 2022 and this Bronx native has yet to fall short with her choices of wigs, cuts, and styles.

Now a Grammy award-winning rapper, she stepped onto the stage to give her performance at the Hot 97 Summer Jam music festival with pin-straight, red Rapunzel hair on June 12. Looking at her post, it feels like it's Cardi's world, and we're all just living in it. In classic Cardi fashion, she dripped in tones of copper-red from head to toe. With the front sections stemming down to the waist and the back inching below her thighs, Cardi matched her high-energy presence with a hair look brought to you by hairstylist Mia Jackson, otherwise known as Tokyo Stylez.

Her hair might have been the center of attraction, but let's not forget about those bubble-gum pink nails, the perfect accent for brick-red hair. By the way, that coppery shade has teamed up with more celebrities than we can count just this year. Celebrities including Kendall Jenner, Barbie Ferrara, and Sophie Turner have all dyed their hair copper recently. Cardi B, now being further proof of the predicted trend, has entered the group chat to say: Red is in, okurrr.
