Lizzo is the latest celebrity to catch a case of ‘70s fever. The singer’s go-to makeup artist, Alexx Mayo, shared a photo (which you can check out here) of the singer wearing a big, glittery afro on his Instagram grid on January 5. 

You're definitely not gonna want to pass up on Mayo's post because it also comes with a big announcement. According to his post's caption, Lizzo will be guest-starring as a judge on season 14 of RuPaul's Drag Race, which premieres Friday, January 7, on VH1. That being said, we're guessing that Lizzo's afro will be making an appearance in the upcoming season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Shelby Swain — also known as "The Beyonce of BabyHair" — was the stylist behind the singer's throwback hairstyle. Swain sure lived up to her title all right because Lizzo's baby hairs lined along her forehead are some of the prettiest we've ever seen. 

A '70s-style ensemble isn't complete without some glitter, of course, and boy, did Lizzo serve up a number. Her dazzling, silver-sparkled dress shines as bright (or maybe even a tad brighter) than a disco ball in a club, not to mention that her nails by nail artist Eri Ishizu were also clad in a coat of shiny silver polish. Oh, and her sculpture-like hoop earrings surely cannot be missed, either. 

Lizzo looks fabulous as always, and the debut of this look ahead of the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race is quite telling. Will there be more ‘70s opulence throughout the show, or will there be more period-style looks dedicated to decades past? Whatever kind of beauty looks this season may bring, we'll sure be sitting on the edges of our seats to ooh and ahh at every single one.
