Ana de Armas Swears By This Luxurious Serum for Her Sensitive Skin

 “I have very sensitive skin, and [it can be] very reactive to all the makeup I have to put on every day when I’m shooting,” the actress told Allure. Like many of us, de Armas can’t afford think too much about perfecting her skin, especially before a big shoot, since—in her words—”I swear to God, if I stress too much, I get a pimple.” After discovering the magic of La Mer products from a makeup artist friend, de Armas now confidently boasts the effects of La Mer’s The Concentrate Serum ($425). “The more you use The Concentrate, the more you feel [the difference in your skin],” she said to Allure, “I bring it with me when I travel, through all different climates and environments. My skin is less reactive.”

Another one of the actress’ favorite products for her sometimes finicky complexion is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum ($110). “It’s lifting, hydrating, firming, and has a boost of collagen, plus the texture is amazing,” she told Glamour. The star also shared with Who What Wear, that she loves to pair this powerful serum with morning gua-sha session. “I just massage my face for as long as I can until it isn’t cold anymore. You can really feel the serum penetrate your skin—it gets nice and pink, the blood and circulation are flowing, and it’s really, really nice. It helps me wake up!”
