We love a trend, but what we love even more is being ahead of a trend. We recently checked out this year’s Indie360 Conference to take a peek at emerging indie brands. These are the most impressive up-and-coming makeup and skin, hair and oral care brands we saw. Check them out now because they’ll be trending any minute now.

Nicole Ravachi

Founder Nicole Ravachi previously worked with Dior and Farfetch, so she knows a thing or two about good skin care and makeup.

The Colombian line features products that are “simple, effective and hassle-free.” It fits in perfectly with the skin-streaming trend and paring down your makeup routine. Ravachi says these multifunctional products are timeless and have no rules. When we met Ravachi, we needed to know what she was wearing on her lips, and it was Cocotour ($55) with a slick of Glass Lip Oil ($42) over it—the perfect combo to nail the brownie lip trend. They also have under-eye and lip care in a unique stick format for both hydrating ($40) and antioxidant benefits ($40).

Manifest Beauty

The feel, look and smell of Manifest Beauty’s lip plumpers is amazing. The brand is focused solely on its cinnamon and chili-infused lip plumpers, which sounds like an oncoming TikTok trend if we’ve ever heard one. Plump Pout ($29) comes in Crystal Clear, Dubai Gold and Spicy Rose, with more shades to come. Bonus: It smells reminiscent of Big Red Gum.

Ina

If you haven’t already, it’s about time you hear about the magic that is Ina. Founded by a gynecologist and a cosmetic chemist, Ina’s products exist where skin care and feminine care converge. The brand has a cleanser, serum, balm and oil for your more intimate areas. Ina is your answer to dryness, ingrown hairs, itching, burning, chafing and irritation. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Anti-Chafe Liquid Powder ($26) sells out this summer.

República Skin

República Skin was founded by actress, YouTube star and influencer Julissa Bermudez. Originating from the Dominican Republic, Bermudez was trying to find a way to maintain a Caribbean glow in New York City’s very different climate. This Sugar Body Polish ($42) will transport you to a beachside vacation, so in addition to exfoliating and smoothing skin, it’s also a nice self-care moment. The value of this is exceptional as the jar is pretty hefty.

Elims

Belinda Lau tasked her husband, dentist Dr. Casey Lau to create Elims—a better-for-the-environment dental line—with her. The brand boasts deliciously flavored toothpaste options like Lavender Vanilla Mint ($14) and Pineapple Orange Mint ($14) to make the mundane task a bit more fun. The brand’s most impressive product is the Magic Melt-Away Teeth Whitening Masks ($55). Comparable to classic drugstore whitening strips—but sans plastic. They simply dissolve using similar technology to Listerine Strips.

Madame Lemmy

While this product originated as a luxe powder deodorant, it’s a multifunctional product. Founder Holly Eve was inspired to find an effective natural deodorant after her friend passed with breast cancer. All the natural products she tried either irritated her skin or didn’t work, so she ended up discovering the power of using lemons as deodorant. She then created a powder formula that’s more convenient to use than lemon slices. One of the coolest benefits is that this powder can also act as an effective dry shampoo. It comes in a handful of fresh scents ($22), each with its own adorable puff.

Truth Treatment Systems

Who better to trust with what you’re putting on your skin than a pharmacist, nutritionist and skin-care chemist? Benjamin Kight, Ph created Truth Treatment Systems on the basis that all skin care should be inherently healing. He realized that wound healing concoctions would often lead to an overall more stunning complexion, so he started bottling them.

These nutrient-packed products feature ingredients skin is familiar with, so they can dive deeper. Transdermal C Serum ($49) achieves the seemingly impossible with above 75 percent fat-soluble vitamin C in the formula. Knight says Omega 6 Healing Cream ($79) was originally designed to heal wounds and burns by hydrating skin and restoring tissue. While it’s great to use on scars, it also works wonders on dry, damaged or sunburned skin.

Nulastin has a lot of novel technology behind its products. It’s the only beauty solution featuring Elastapex Technology, which supports the body’s natural ability to stimulate the replenishment of elastin, which in turn revitalizes lashes, brows, hair and skin. Their claim to fame is their Lash Fortifying Serum ($79), Brow Shape Altering Serum ($79) and Scalp Treatment ($149), but they also have an impressive range of skin care.

Six Gldn is built on nine generations of ancestral knowledge and is rooted in ancient Korean principles of beauty and wellness. Korean botanicals and herbal medicine are combined with cutting-edge bioactives to create a unique line of products. A good way to try all the products is the On the Glow Mini Collection ($97), which includes cleansing gel, toner, vitamin C serum moisturizer, face oil and an on-the-go reusable bag.

Alexandra Organic

Alexandra Organic was founded in Greece by chemical engineer Klea Alexandra after she bleached her hair to the point of seemingly no return. She developed her own shampoo ($19) and hair mask ($25) that helped heal her hair and began selling them on Instagram until she had enough money to open a store. The brand has since continued to expand its hair line and created a handful of skin-care products.
