10 Beauty and Wellness Brands Supporting Pride Month

June is Pride Month, which means we’re bound to see rainbow-hued products and pledges of allyship from brands far and wide. We’re especially interested in the companies that are looking to put their money and their time where their mouth is and show tangible support for the queer community. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite beauty, hair and wellness brands that have pledged partnerships and donations to worthy organizations that support LGBTQIA+ people.

Malin + Goetz

On June 28, 50 percent of all store and online sales made will be donated to The Trevor Project in honor of the 1969 Stonewall anniversary. Additionally, on June 24, select Malin + Goetz locations in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco will be handing out lip balms for the “Pucker up for Pride” campaign.

Youth To The People

Youth To The People says it “believes in celebrating Pride 24/7, 365 days a year,” which is why in 2022, the brand has skipped the launch of a limited-edition product and has instead pledged hefty donations. This year the brand will give $100,000 to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network and the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) through the To The Future Fund.

Moroccanoil

Moroccanoil is partnering with OutRight Action and making a donation to support their advocacy for human rights and equality for the queer community.

Kiehl’s

For the third year in a row, Kiehl’s is partnering with The Trevor Project. Kiehl’s has committed to donating a minimum of $150,000 to the nonprofit. Part of the donation will come from the sale of the Limited Edition PRIDE Ultra Facial Cream Supporting The Trevor Project.

Jonathan Van Ness’s brand is giving the number one bestseller a Pride makeover. The JVN Complete Air Dry Cream (Limited Pride Edition) ($24) features colorful packaging and is in partnership with #YouAreEssential.

Queer-owned skin-care brand Alder New York is donating 10 percent of sales from Pride Cooling Mineral Hydro Mist ($29) to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.

Welly is donating the proceeds from all June sales of the PFLAG x Welly bundle ($46). Up to $10,000 of the proceeds will be given directly to PFLAG National.

This year e.l.f. Cosmetics is partnering with the It Gets Better Project to launch Big Mood Mascara PRIDE Edition ($8). All of the proceeds will go to the It Gets Better Project.

It’s A 10 Haircare

It’s A 10 Haircare recently announced its official long-term partnership with The Trevor Project. The partnership entails a banner donation of a minimum of $100,000 to the nonprofit. Additionally, this fall, the brand will launch a one-time limited-edition product.

For Pride, scünci is partnering with the Point Foundation. The brand has pledged a donation to the scholarship fund for LGBTQIA+.
